
Catalog Description
This course provides an overview of information technology and project management. The course covers computer hardware and operating systems, an in-depth look at data communications and networking requirements, including networking and telecommunications technologies, hardware, and software. The course ends with an overview of system administration. Students will understand the fundamentals of virtualization and the importance of the command-line interface when managing a server system.

- Demonstrate a working knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu), managing services and users in a web-based environment.
