You will create and optimize profiles on Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram, ensuring that they align with your website’s branding and help drive traffic back to your main site.
To begin, create a new Gmail account for your company (e.g., “timssportinggoods@gmail.com”), which you will use to sign up for the social networking platforms. Once you have established accounts on Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram, focus on branding each profile with a consistent look and feel that reflects your website’s design.
Next, populate your social media profiles with the content you developed in Project 2, ensuring that you tailor each piece to suit the specific platform. For the YouTube channel, transform at least two of your content pieces (one of which must be your MVP) into engaging videos.
Finally, incorporate social networking icons on your website and link them to your newly created social media profiles. This will facilitate seamless navigation for your visitors and further solidify your brand’s online presence across multiple platforms. Turning In Your Project
To submit this project, ensure that all social media icons on your website are functional and correctly linked to your respective social media profiles, with the content displayed properly. Before submitting, thoroughly test your website and have friends or family members check that the social media icons are working correctly from different computers.
Once you have confirmed that everything is working as intended, submit your project by adding your website’s URL to the comment section of Assignment 6 on GeorgiaView. I will evaluate the project by visiting your website and clicking on each social media icon to verify that they direct me to the correct profiles and display the content as expected.
